About The Leadership
Alliance Inc.
The
Leadership Alliance Inc. (TLA) was founded in
Canada in 1987 based on a collaborative network
of uniquely skilled international authorities (TLA
Associates). TLA Associates are committed to
supporting one another and
to helping clients achieve responsible business
and organizational solutions in collaborative
and developmental partnership with stakeholder
communities.
TLA currently also has formal collaborative
relationships with three other consultancies:
The Leadership Alliance Inc. (TLA), Canada ,
and
Systems Wisdom, USA,
have a reciprocal Associate agreement that
amplifies the capabilities of both
oorganizations to represent each other in
appropriate markets and to address and satisfy
client needs.
The Leadership Alliance Inc. (TLA), Canada ,
and
Múltipla, Brazil,
have a reciprocal Associate agreement that
amplifies the capabilities of both
oorganizations to represent each other in
appropriate markets and to address and satisfy
client needs.
The Leadership Alliance Inc. (TLA), Canada ,
and PROGILENCE, India, have signed a MOU to
collaborate on Leadership Development for
the 21st Century. Both companies plan to
develop and deploy new models for leadership
development that take into account emergent
needs for leadership in today’s dynamic and
uncertain environment. Working across
contexts (Business, Social and Education)
the two organizations are committed to help
create new impetus for holistic Leadership
Capabilities Development. Together they will
offer consultancy and development programs
through various models that offer
flexibility of face to face and digital
delivery.
Since its foundation, TLA has established
a successful international consulting practice servicing public and private sector organizations
globally.
In partnership with clients TLA designs
and carries out precisely the consulting
assignments, workshops, and training
programs related to leadership development
and other performance enhancement
initiatives that are critical to achieving
success and
sustainability in today's complex and
dynamic environments. TLA's efforts are designed to
foster and maintain high levels of employee
and/or public sector satisfaction.
TLA maintains close relationships with a
number of universities and a network of
international authorities in academe and
practice. Research assignments are
undertaken on topics of relevance to the
company and its clients and are reported as
appropriate to sponsors and/or through the
professional literature and books.
In 2012 TLA's
Center for Dynamic Leadership Models in Global
Business
was set up
focusing
exclusively on how to become an outstanding
leader in today’s complex
digitally-connected global business
environments.
The Center and its curriculum were developed
based on work set out in the book "Dynamic
Leadership Models for Global Business: Enhancing
Digitally-Connected Environments", co-authored
by TLA Associates Peter A.C. Smith and Dr. Tom
Cockburn, and published by IGI GLobal. The
Center's faculty is comprised of international
authorities in a number of critical disciplines
organized as Departments.
