Dr. Eric Sandelands

Dr Eric Sandelands has over 25 years of management and consultancy experience. He started his career as a navigational officer in the British Merchant Navy and later as an operations manager in the chemical industry, before moving into publishing and then consultancy. In his consultancy role he has designed and led organizational learning interventions, primarily with international businesses, spending time in the UK, Ireland, Canada, the USA, the Caribbean, the Middle East and South Africa.

Eric gained a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Teesside. He gained a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) from International Management Centres, his thesis focusing on organizational learning and forming the basis for much of his subsequent books and articles. Eric is Director (Consulting) for Corporate Learning Consultants Ltd.

He serves on the editorial advisory board of Education & Training, is a visiting lecturer at the Centre for Director Education, Leeds Business School and an external examiner for London Metropolitan University Business School.
