Eric Zhelka

Eric Zhelka MASc (MOT), P.Eng, PMP, has over 20 years of high technology experience in industries such as finance, telecommunications, banking, executive search and film production.  Eric has worked for both public and private sector organizations and thrives on creative problem solving and using his lateral thinking skills to determine how to best leverage technology. 

Eric graduated from the University of Toronto as a systems and industrial engineer; he has a Masters in Management of Technology from the University of Waterloo; and he holds a PMI Project Management Professional certification.  Eric has also spoken at a number of international conferences on knowledge management and network analysis.

Prior to working as a consultant, Eric worked for CGI, Bell Northern Research, Nortel Networks, and S.A. Armstrong.  As a consultant, his clients have included the Royal Bank of Canada, British Telecom, Alcan Aluminum, the Bank of England, a major pharmaceutical, and BC Ferries.  Much of his consulting work has been in the area of Social Network Analysis deriving from his need to know how organizations work.

Eric has led numerous large complex projects including developing change management strategies.  He is well versed in systems analysis and business analysis.  He is especially known for his ability to build relationships and influence others.

Eric’s strong leadership skills coupled with his technology background makes him a unique consultant who succeeds in interpreting IT language into business terms to the rest of the organization.
