Prof. Faustin Kamuzora

Faustin holds a PhD, Informatics, University of Bradford, United Kingdom, (2006), and has had over twenty years undertaking various capacity development activities such as training, research and community service. The training has been provided in multidisciplinary subjects such as leadership and management development, information technology management, systems thinking, management cybernetics, development economics, research management, information technology project management, information systems management, strategic management, and knowledge management.

 

Faustin has also had over 20 years of research in various economic development and development informatics areas, including administration both in central government and academic administration. The administrative experience includes four years of heading a district agricultural department as a district agricultural development officer, head of academic department at Mzumbe University, four years of working as an Executive Secretary of the Agricultural Economist Society of Tanzania and five years Institute of Development Management/Mzumbe University Academic Staff Association. From 2007 to date, he has been serving as a deputy vice chancellor / president responsible for administration and financial matters at Mzumbe University among others.

 

Faustin has published widely in various multidisciplinary local and international journals and he is a consultant at local and international levels, visiting scholars and external examiner of a number of local and international universities. He is also involved in a number of community service activities. For example, he is President of Morogoro Central Rotary Club and incoming Assistant Governor for Morogoro and Dodoma regions under Rotary District 9211 (Tanzania and Uganda).
