Peter Treadwell
Dr
Peter Treadwell is a consultant to the new
Centre for Work Based Learning [CWBL] at Cardiff
Metropolitan University. Formerly, Dean of
Academic Development and Participation at
Cardiff Metropolitan; he is also the founding
Director of Treadwell Consulting, a performance
development consultancy specializing
organisational change management and executive
coaching.
Peter has expert knowledge in work based
learning having designed and led numerous
European [ESF and ERDF] funded projects. He
co-ordinated and wrote the HEFCW Work Based
Learning project, ‘Strategic Development of
High Level Learning for the Workforce in Wales,’
[2009] (£225K) and is currently engaged in a UK
review of Higher Education STEM workforce
development projects funded by the UK
government.
He has presented his research on work-based learning to the Wales
Employment Skills Board [WESB] and to the Wales
Assembly Government, Skills, Higher Education
and Lifelong Learning [SHELL] group executive
officer.
His personal research is linked to
organisational performance effectiveness and
coaching and leadership in elite sport and
business. He is in demand as a consultant and
presenter on the synergies between business
leadership, elite sports performance, and ‘top
team’ management.
