TLA welcomes you to its unique experiment in journal publishing - the open library concept - pioneered by TLA in 1998. In this approach you the reader have open access to all articles that have been, and are currently being, published in JKMP by TLA. Please note that the articles have been optimised for viewing using Internet Explorer. I think of this open library concept as a "knowledge garden". For me the notion of a knowledge garden has always conjured up the image of a real garden on a warm summer's day. A garden replete with shady walkways, and benches where I can rest and enjoy the wonderful variety of fragrances, colours and textures. The kind of place which entices me to wander around and relax and reflect no matter how busy I happen to be. I hope you will view the JKMP in this same light. As a place with purpose and boundaries, but populated by design according to chaos theory; a place to wander round, relax and reflect, and be pleasantly surprised from time to time.
Note that articles originating prior to August 1999 were published in the Journal of Systemic Knowledge Management. For reasons of ediitorial freedom that journal was reborn as the Journal of Knowledge Management Practice; however, all JSKM articles are republished here. Further note that JKMP is published in 2006 and onward in Quarterly Issues. Special Issues will also be published from time to time.
